To give the short and sweet version, Erryn and Pete met on the internet in 2009. You could call it a modern day romance. She viewed his profile and thought he was cute and smart. He noticed that she had seen his profile and took a chance by sending her a message. Short messages turned into long emails and a few months later they met in person for the first time. It was September 13 2009 and what would be their first date.
Their first date was at the Werribee Zoo. Friendship bloomed into something more and what else can be said? A year later a question was 'popped' on a return visit to the zoo and very soon after it was decided that the vows should be said in the beautiful gardens at the Melbourne Zoo as a nod to their first meeting.
